my pathetic exp with packers & movers while relocating - pls warn others

Dear Sir,

While going through your site, I have come across the above complaint against our

company. We wish to clarify that although the customer complaint is true in some parts,

but not as whole.

Firstly, Mr. Chakraboraty wasn't sure about the value of the rack. On delivery he had

told the value as Rs. 300 which he later changed to Rs. 500 on his call to the office.

As such the value of material declared in the inventory list was Rs. 500 for 2 items

packed together ( steel rack + plastic rack). As per the procedure the amount payable

was Rs. 250 only. Due to this discrepancy we were not able to start the claim

proceedings on time.

Secondly, the said kitchen rack was mistakenly exchanged and delivered to other

customer. As the customer was unavailable for few days and he had assured us of

returning the rack, making us wait for some time to procure the rack from him and

deliver to Mr. Chakraboraty.

We have already settled the claim with Mr. Chakraboraty within a month ( we take max 15

days to settle the claims) and he has aknowledged recieving the cheque.

We will appreciate your effort to check the status of the complaint with the customer

and delist the complaint from your site.
