Two months back, I shifted my household items from Bangalore to Chennai thru Agarwal Packers& Movers. As I had many fragile items, I wanted to entrust the job to some reliable people. I chose Agarwal, as they were supposed to be the "best"! And soon I could realize that it was the greatest blunder I had ever done! They initially impressed me with their "manner of talking and packing things" (Anybody will as they carry wooden & plastic boxes to suit their customer's needs!! ) and promised to deliver it on time.

However, it was late night when I received my things, with lots of excuses for delay. And to my shock, most of the crockery and glass panes of my TV trolley were completely broken! And one item had completely gone missing. When contacted, I got the casual reply that I should lodge a complaint and claim for insurance .And that they will search for my lost item.

(As though this is not the first time this is happening and I'm not the first person having such experience!). And unfortunately, that's the fact, I'm not the first person! Now I understand there are so many people like me who had the same bad experience with Agarwal packers. So its my sincere advice to people that DON'T ever go for AGARWAL PACKERS.

Unfortunately I have read this message a little too late. I too have gone through a similar harrowing experience by engaging Agarwal Packers for shifting of household goods from Ghaziabad to Ahmedabad.

I WOULD ALSO SUGGEST TO ALL THOSE WHO READ NEVER TO ENGAGE AGARWAL PACKERS AND NEVER TO GIVE ADVANCE PAYMENT TO ANY PACKER.

I am subbarao transported my luggage with sony lcd tv and washing macine got damaged , i advice my sincere its only brand but useless , they did not even bother to send aperson.

Regret , I too read this page very late . I have just shifted my house hold belongings from Nagpur to Kolkata. Polish of all the furniture got damaged , some glass items broke and worst of all that the car that they transported in a carrier seperately got damaged on all four sides and the paint got scratched and polish damaged. that too when they claim to be the best . Very bad luck for me . DO NOT REPEAT DO NOT USE DRS GARWAL PACKERS FOR SHIFTING USE any local paker mover it will be better. After all if there has to be damage then you atleast end up paying less for the transportation.

dear mr deep,
my experiance is same like you only differance i moved from bhopal to lucknow.some more bad experiance is as far as DRS concern they were not insured my goods even getting the full insurance premium rs 6000/-,
they have not shown service tax they charge as surcharge its again cheating to us & service tax department also.

Dear Group Members

I tell you real experience , I got Transfer from Delhi to Mumbai in the month of January 2005. They all did the work very professionally and all my House hold goods reached to Mumbai in scheduled time and without any damage.

Really their system is splendid, They are punctual in time, they pack really professionally .Their special designed container are really safe.

Really Agarwal Packer & Movers have done the marvelous job me,

Even after that that many of my friends have done shifting through AGARWAL PACKERS & MOVERS and they all had very good experience.


I recommend AGARWAL PACKERS & MOVERS to you all.

Dear Friends,


I had a very bad experience with "Associated cargo movers and packers". I have booked and paid for transporing my household items in a closed container. They had sent them in an outside open vehicle by paying just Rs.2500 to that vehicle and just to gain huge profits they resort to this. They didn't issue bill to me so when i asked for bill, their executive behave like goondas. They don't treat customers properly once you pay them. Also many of my items get damaged. They charge for insurance and they won't pay premium. So you can't claim insurance also. Now i realise that all these packers and movers are on the same way. I suggest that we should never engage any of these packers and movers whenever we need to move household items. Instead we should hire a truck of suitable size for our luggage and do our own transport. I request and suggest employees community to not engage "Associated cargo movers and packers" for relocation purposes.

I had shifted to Pune recently from Jamshedpur. I am currently undergoing the the pain of choosing Agarwal Packers as all my belongings are untraceable. The guys out in the customer care are least responsive. Only if I had read all this before I would have taken some other packers.
These guys charge at premium rate and give the most disgusting service.
So beware and pass this message to all friends and foes alike.

Would like to bring to your notice & caution you all against the existence of a fradulent,corrupt movers and packers company by the name of- CENTRAL CARGO PACKERS AND MOVERS, located at Bangalore/ Delhi. Although this company claims to be an ISO 9001:2000 certified, it has indulged in cheating & Inconveniencing its customers which includes my husband & myself while moving from Bangalore to Mumbai..



We approached the Bangalore based office of CENTRAL CARGO PACKERS AND MOVERS, at A-40,2nd floor,D-Dutta,II stage,Yashwanthpur,Bangalore-560022 to move our household belongings and motor bike to our apartment in Mumbai. They were scheduled to give us a door to door delivery (check receipt attached) of all our belongings on 30-March-08.For this they charged us RS 13,500 for transferring the goods.



We were assured by them that we can leave for Mumbai and the stuff would reach us as scheduled. But to our total surprise the stuff did not reach us even 10 days after the scheduled date. We made repeated phone calls to the owner of the company Ajay Sharma, but he told us that most of our things were misplaced & that he does not take guarantee for it. On perusal he finally sent in half our stuff. However most of it was scratched, broken and dilapidated (check photos attached)The height of un professionalism came to the forefront when they refused to send in the bike and started blackmailing us to give more money over & above the RS 13,500.They demanded RS 6,000 more although we had a receipt of the RS 13,500 already paid to them.( check receipt attached) On refusal of payment into this extortion they threatened to never return the bike. This is despite the fact that they had already misplaced most of out stuff and were now keen on only swindling and extracting more money. Soon they started threatening us with their links to an influential political party



To top this all after repeated request they brought the Bike via Tempo outside my house and then refused to put it down till we paid them the extra money, now claiming that this is the octroi charge for a bike. However, the question of Octroi duty for the same does not come into the picture as the bike is registered with maharashtra itself.

When we refused to make this unwarranted payment,they soon started haggling and were ready to negotiate on this amount of RS 6000.This act took us by surprise & we realized that they are into the business of harrowing, cheating , threatening & using coercion to extract additional, undue money over & above the cost from the people who use their services.



This incident took us by shock to see that there are such fraudulent companies that cheat people in the guise of service for payment.Kindly make note of not using the services of this particular company to pack your goods while movement from one place to another.



Thought would inform you guys because as young professionals we often move cities & I would not want anyone to have the same mental traumatizing experience like us. Kindly caution as many people as possible by forwarding this email. This may save someone else who might want to tie up with these bunch of cheats.

Thanks a lot for all ur msgs. Luckily, I transported my household through a neighbouring van operator, who did it with utmost care and personally picked up from my residence and and neatly arranged them at the destination with the help of his two accomplices(one was his son and another co-driver) All this he did at a cost of Rs.6000, which is against the Rs.14,000 demanded by most packers.

UJJAWAL packers is cheated us. He took the money before unloading so guys take care while siging any doc. even insurance premium took but for damaged items no person came.
It is very painful.

AGARWAL PACKERS is big cheater the service is too poor.he is cheating with costumer as well as service tax department.my experiane is vry bad from bhopal office.

Looks like some one from aggarwal is writing the good lines...there can be no easy experience ...as all the experiences with these guys are sick..humiliating ....drops human standards....makes a normal man ..aggressive..possibly even causes 3rd world war.... jesus these guys should be flogged...50 flogs per day late
