Hi All

Would like to bring to your notice & caution you all against the
existence of a fradulent, corrupt movers and packers company by the name
of- PROFESSIONAL PACKERS AND MOVERS, located at Bangalore/ Delhi and other Locations.
Although this company claims to be an ISO 9001:2000 certified, it has
indulged in cheating & Inconveniencing its customers which includes me
while moving from Ghaziabad to Bangalore.

We approached the Delhi based office of PROFESSIONAL PACKERS AND
MOVERS, at Khasra No. 338/2, N.H.8, Near Celebration Garden, Mahipalpur Extn.,
New Delhi-110037 Phone: 011-32426996, 011-25066894, Fax No: 011-25066895
to move our household belongings and motor bike to Bangalore. I sent a mail with list of my households to their email Id and got quotation of Rs. 21, 900/- on 5/06/2008. Their representative reached my home and quote 24000/-. After discussing he agreed at 23000.00. They were scheduled to give us a door to door delivery of all our belongings on 14-June-08. Their team came with tempo & packing materials. Packed the material and loaded into tempo. Asked to pay full amount in cash which was about 28472/-. I refused to pay full amount and paid only 5000/- as advance. Their main person MAHAVEER called me and asked me to pay full amount. I refused and asked to unload my material then senior person PAWAN called me asked to give post-dated cheque of 15000/- I handed over the cheque. This was first and last discussion with PAWAN in their firm. After that whenever I tried to contact him, MAHAVEER gave me different excuses every time. I informed rest amount I’ll pay in Bangalore.

We were assured by them that we can leave for Bangalore and the stuff would
reach us as scheduled. But to our total surprise the stuff did not reach
us even 3 days after the scheduled date. We made repeated phone calls
to the main person of the company MAHAVEER. At last they delivered my household belongings. But they could not deliver my Almirah at 2nd Floor. After a lot of discussion, RATANLAL (Bangalore) agreed to return back my Almirah to Ghaziabad at the charge of 500/- only. After more than a month and making a lot of calls they delivered my Almirah to Delhi office. They never try to inform me that my Almirah is in Delhi office. After my discussion they started to demand 10000/- (3000/- their rest amount + 7000/- for Almirah which was decided at 500/-). On refusal of payment into this extortion they threatened to never return the Almirah. Soon they started threatening us with their links to an influential political party. I asked them to give me RAJKUMAR (New Senior person) contact no. They refused to give me. I tried to enquired RAJKUMAR no. from other branches but they refused. They also informed me that he is on leave for 15 days. On one day at last MAHAVEER hand over phone to RAJKUMAR (who was not actually RAJKUMAR, because he was on leave for 15 days.) and after discussing a lot I decided to pay only 5000/-. After two days they brought my ALMIRAH via Tempo outside my house and refused to put it down till we paid them the 9000/-. After discussing that 5000/- was decided, MAHAVEER threatened me that if you need Almirah you have to pay 9000/- otherwise we are bringing it back and will never discuss about it. At last we paid 9000/- and get back the Almirah.

This incident took us by shock to see that there are such fraudulent
companies that cheat people in the guise of service for payment. Kindly
make note of not using the services of this particular company to pack
your goods while movement from one place to another.

Thought would inform you guys because as young professionals we often
move cities & I would not want anyone to have the same mental
traumatizing experience like us. Kindly caution as many people as
possible by forwarding this email. This may save someone else who might
want to tie up with these bunch of cheats.
