We found ‘The Right Move’ moving company online to help us with our move from manhattan, new york to white plains, Westchester county. We were quoted an estimate of $450 for the whole move. The actual movers were friendly and professional and although they tried to delay everything to get more money from the hourly rate we were paying, everything seemed to be going ok..

We had packed everything in boxes and bags to minimize the amount of time taken up during the move. However, when the movers arrived, they wrapped everything up, put our bags in boxes, cushions in boxes, everything had to go in a box. I thought nothing of it and thought they were just being professional – that was until I was presented with the bill upon arrival at White Plains. For the use of eight cardboard boxes, ‘rent’ of covers, and the sticky tape they had wound round everything repeatedly, we were charge over $350…! So we went from paying an estimated $400 to $800 just because of the outlandish, rip off prices they charge for their packing materials.

I would never use this company again as they are clearly a bunch of criminals.
